Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th, a day feared by westerners, a day of bad luck and impending doom.
A day, however, held in high regard by the European people as one of the luckiest days of the year.

Racing Ma had an amulet with the number 13 struck on the face and encrusted with jewels, this was her lucky amulet.
A most peculiar amulet, struck from the purest gold, encrusted with diamonds and sapphires. Magic emanated from it until the day Racing Ma passed across the veil.
Now it just sits, dormant, waiting for the day it can be worn by someone as worthy as Racing Ma.

Friday the 13th, a day like any other day to some, a day of woe to others.
Beware the raven, the black cat, and all the other Necromancer doomsayers that can ruin a perfectly good day.

Beware shadows that seem to move with you, beware the full moon, for tonight it can light the way for demons of all types.
Beware the wizards, for their power is great today.

But most of all, beware your imagination, for in it is all that terrifies you.

So sayeth the Great White Sage.

The Day of the Immortals Reunion

Twas the day after the Feast of Passing, Kerry the Bard, The Great Gumba and Catherine of Khatadin were going to see the Red Prince, Otter Queen and Otter Princess.
A sunny day, bright blue skies, it was a fitting day for Immortals to reacquaint.

The chariot of the Bard arrived in the Mans Field of Dreams, screeching to a halt just outside the Red Princes Castle. All was quiet, the Bard, Gumba and Catherine walked up to the great gate, no one here, mumbled the Gumba. Then the Gumba remembered, a low guttural growl came forth from the Gumba, raising to a crescendo that could shatter stone, the door slowly opened, for it remembered the Great Gumba.

The Red Prince was the first to greet them, Huzzah, said the Prince, Welcome friend.
This made the Gumba happy, for he did not know what to expect from the Red Prince.
Then the Otter Queen, beautiful as ever, sauntered into the room, hugs were had by all.
Then the Otter Princess, once a child, now a beautiful young woman, befitting the Prince and Queen, came into the room and threw her arms around the Great Gumba.

The trepidation, that all who where in attendance felt, was gone, for the Immortals were together again. Time heals all wounds. Even the Immortals cannot change time.

Ale was brought forth, the celebration began and merriment ruled the rest of the day.
Recounting battles won, foes fought and wenches?
The Gumba and Prince together again, evil trembles, the skies watch and the gods wonder.
The women chatted about coming to the Great Northron Region for the Feast of Crustaceans, all that walks or lives in the oceans are fair game for this feast.

Soon the sun was setting and the Gumba and Bard had a long ride back to the Northron region ahead of them. Goodbyes were said, chariots were washed and the great reunion had come and gone.

All was well, Life is good.
Huzzah to the Red Prince, the Otter Queen and the Otter Princess.

So sayeth the Great White Sage.

Day of the Bard

The Day of the Bard.

Immortals usually do not celebrate birthdays, however. Like the Great Gumba, Kerry the Bard does, and with all celebrations at Castle Catalano, it is a feast.

The lesser hoards have been invited to the great wells of the works of water, where the ale will flow through the ice caves to the brass spigots into the mugs, that shall be drank by the Gumba and his Bard.

Tis a joyous day, for on this day, millennia ago, the Bard was born.
Neither herself nor the Gumba, would have known they would be together.
But today, the world rejoices, for the Bard and her kin, have graced the world with kindness and love.
Kerry the Bard, Catherine of Khatadin and Golden Judy, all have contributed to the wellness and well being of the world known to all as the land of the immortals.

Much has been written, and much more, will be written, about the exploits of Kerry the Bard, her magical lyre and the music, which soothes the Great Gumba.
Her boundless beauty and ageless wisdom, all that she is and all that she has become, together form the foundation of what she truly is, The Bard, companion to the Great Gumba and vice versa, warrior when need be, mediator when called upon, mostly just one of the most loving and compassionate immortals to ever walk the earth.
The Beauty of Venus, the wisdom of Zeus, the prowess of Aphrodite all together to become, Kerry the Bard.

Long life to Kerry the Bard, wisdom and health, for together, Kerry the Bard and the Great Gumba are a match for any Mortal or Immortal, for they have a bond that none can put asunder, LOVE.

Huzzah to Kerry the Bard.
Live Long, Live Well.

So Sayeth the Great White Sage.
