Twas the day after the Feast of Passing, Kerry the Bard, The Great Gumba and Catherine of Khatadin were going to see the Red Prince, Otter Queen and Otter Princess.
A sunny day, bright blue skies, it was a fitting day for Immortals to reacquaint.
The chariot of the Bard arrived in the Mans Field of Dreams, screeching to a halt just outside the Red Princes Castle. All was quiet, the Bard, Gumba and Catherine walked up to the great gate, no one here, mumbled the Gumba. Then the Gumba remembered, a low guttural growl came forth from the Gumba, raising to a crescendo that could shatter stone, the door slowly opened, for it remembered the Great Gumba.
The Red Prince was the first to greet them, Huzzah, said the Prince, Welcome friend.
This made the Gumba happy, for he did not know what to expect from the Red Prince.
Then the Otter Queen, beautiful as ever, sauntered into the room, hugs were had by all.
Then the Otter Princess, once a child, now a beautiful young woman, befitting the Prince and Queen, came into the room and threw her arms around the Great Gumba.
The trepidation, that all who where in attendance felt, was gone, for the Immortals were together again. Time heals all wounds. Even the Immortals cannot change time.
Ale was brought forth, the celebration began and merriment ruled the rest of the day.
Recounting battles won, foes fought and wenches?
The Gumba and Prince together again, evil trembles, the skies watch and the gods wonder.
The women chatted about coming to the Great Northron Region for the Feast of Crustaceans, all that walks or lives in the oceans are fair game for this feast.
Soon the sun was setting and the Gumba and Bard had a long ride back to the Northron region ahead of them. Goodbyes were said, chariots were washed and the great reunion had come and gone.
All was well, Life is good.
Huzzah to the Red Prince, the Otter Queen and the Otter Princess.
So sayeth the Great White Sage.
